How to choose the right power adapter to be safe

Issue Time:2019-05-10
The power supply is the core of the notebook work. The power adapter is an intermediate hub between the power supplies. It converts the relatively high AC power into DC low voltage. For the role of the power adapter, let us talk about how to choose the right power adapter for the notebook.

For laptops and AC adapters for home use and office use, buy a home (AC), laptop power adapter for the car, buy a car, and use it on the car. The plane head is fine. At home, in the car, in the plane, I want to take care of it, buy a two-in-one, or three-in-one. However, if you don't want multiple weights in your computer bag, you can put one at home, one on the car, one in the office, so you don't have to bring it, plug it in, it's more convenient, you can also use it for people around you.

The output voltage of the adapter is equal to the voltage required by the notebook. If it is different, it is as close as possible to the required voltage of the notebook, and the control is within ±5% error. This is because the voltage regulator circuit in the notebook generally has a margin design. When the input voltage changes within a certain range, it can work normally and stably; beyond this range, the voltage is too low, the computer may not work stably or even light the machine; if the voltage is too high, the voltage regulator circuit inside the computer may be burned.

The maximum output current of the adapter is as close as possible to the maximum current required by the notebook. If it is different, it must be equal to or greater than the current required by the notebook. Note: As long as the current is large, it is not necessary to worry about it. Don't worry about burning the machine! But the current should not be too small, because unstable conditions such as screen flicker may occur.
